Praise God for the good things He has done

Scripture: Psalms.103:1-5

Let all that I am praise the Lord;
with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
Let all that I am praise the Lord;
may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death
and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

When you become a believer of Christ, you have to live a life that resembles Him. You got to praise Him with ALL you are and with ALL you have. Your actions should show that you don’t doubt in Him and you are proud of Him. A true believer must change from past ways to show that they are truly born again and are ready to follow Christ. You need to do away with past bad ways and if your friends cannot follow you after having made attempts to bring them to Christ, then you need to drop them.

Singing, shouting, dancing and clapping hands make part of the ALL. That participation in the house of God means you are becoming part of the ALL in the house of God. If you are a couple, you both need to worship the Lord in the same church together. ALL means you should also come to church and worship together with your children. It is never ALL when you leave your spouse or child.

You must get used to remembering the good things that God did for you in your life. You must not only remember bad moments that you encountered but the good things too. By appreciating what you already have, you manifest more abundance. There are lots of good things, big and small that have happened in your life and thus, you can’t fail to praise the Almighty God. Some people when asked what good things God did in their life, they look up the sky deeply pondering and going through their database of life records but struggling to come up with anything good, yet there are lots of good things around them. Ask them to mention the bad things that happened in their life, they can list without hesitation, even interject you before you complete your question.

We are a product of our meditation – what we spend more time thinking about, are the things that manifest in our life. David is saying, let me remember the good things God has done for me; so should you also.

We give all glory to God. Mbiri kunaJesu.
