Which kingdom do you belong to? Who is your Lord or lord? Do you belong to the God who created the heavens and the earth or to the gods of this world? Does God know you as His? Do you say with confidence that you belong to the same Kingdom?
When a manufacturer makes a product, say a printer like HP, they ensure they put the brand name on their product label to show confidence in their product. When you buy a product from them and it develops a problem, they are more than prepared to assist you in order to protect their brand name. The same happens to the manufacturer of Mercedes Benz cars, as another example, that they defend their product and are ready to support their consumers because they know their product and would want to protect their reputation. For as long the car you have come from them they can support but if not they will not cooperate. God will not remember you or stand for you when you only consider Him during the times of trouble.
Does your life make you feel like you are being slammed onto a hard spinning wheel like clay, flying around out of control, under pressure, squashed and squeezed yet you still know there is a fire of problems that lies ahead? A clay pot sitting in the sun will always remain an ordinary clay pot but it has to go through the white heat of the furnace to become porcelain – just like a ship in the harbour, it is safe there but that is not what ships are made for, they have to go into the rough seas.
Being a pot in the pottery hands of God, a clay pot full of milk is better than a golden pot carrying poison. It is not our outer glamour but our inner qualities that make us valuable. Do not envy all golden pots because they could be containing evil inside of them. It takes the Lord Jesus Christ to turn your ordinary clay life into precious porcelain but once you become porcelain the devil cannot turn you back into ordinary clay.
