Scripture: Philippians.3:12-14 [NLT]

12 I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. 13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Being given a new opportunity to see a new year means getting an opportunity to restart. Every new chapter needs new character. If you want to make it in the new chapter and in the new year you must change your culture; you need to drop certain friends and make new better ones. A culture can swallow the power or declaration of God. As you cross the year into another new one, you need to cross out unnecessary people in your life. Bring in new people who are ready to shift levels with you in the new chapter.

There is no way you can shift to higher levels when you remain hooked to people and surroundings that are ‘dead’ and are actually a liability to your development and progress. If you are really geared to open a new chapter then you need to rebrand. Once you are ready to rebrand, the next important question is which areas you need to rebrand. God spoke to me about the month of March 2018 to be “The month of harvesting” and thus, your change of culture must lead to better harvests in March 2018. Does your environment promote your promotion or progress?

In one of my recent books entitled, Leadership Part2 I placed a statement of wisdom which says, “Do not do what the rich man did to become rich but what he is doing right now”. As we approach the last hours of 2017 a declaration is coming at the early hours of 2018. However, action must follow every declaration and plan that comes your way. There is no way that you can succeed if you do not take action to turn thoughts into reality. Being productive is to be connected with perfect people.

If you want to make it this coming year you then need to disregard witches and witchcraft and focus on practical matters that change your life into this coming new chapter.

You also need energy. You need both spiritual and physical energy to make it into the new chapter. Once you lose physical energy then you cannot think properly.

Order is also another requisite if you really need to make it in life and into the new chapter. Lack of order signifies failure and chaos. You can never make it in life if you lack order. Disorder breeds chaos which then translates into failure and confusion. How can you be trusted with much when you cannot manage the few? [Luke.16:1-12].

The attitude inside you describes your future; if you are optimistic then you will make it in this house. You need to change your attitude towards life and have a positive approach in order succeed and be prosperous.

We give all glory to God. Mbiri kunaJesu.
