Scripture: Acts.3:1-10
Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; 3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. 4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” 5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

The crippled man was there at the temple every day. Today I want to break that routine of negative events in your life. The crippled man was expecting little handouts of coins when Peter and John approached him like he used to do with everyone else. This also applies to you, do not expect the little things but big testimonies. Never settle for less but for greater things. If you are a child of God, learn to expect the best and the greatest. If there is a routine of problems in your life it means the devil is working to destroy your life, time after time to ensure you don’t succeed. You have gone through several miscarriages to the point that you have stopped to conceive. You have lost many jobs to the point of not seeking any more employment. You have lost your children, siblings or close relatives on a routine basis and these are attributed to the acts of the devil.

My duty today is to break a culture and ensure you reach your destiny as mandated by God. You must testify today. The near-miss spirit must be cast out today. Just like the crippled man at the Beautiful Gate, he came every day but he went back the same with an almost successful encounter. If you miss closely, that’s the devil’s act but rejoice, this is your moment to testify. Whatever you failed to do this year, it must be fulfilled by December. Something new must manifest this month of December. Whoever owes you money is paying back this coming month of December.

We give all glory to God. Mbiri kunaJesu.
